Search engines typically offer far more information about their indexes than most people are aware of. Due to some recent time constraints from both work and home - I'm going to let this post, for the most part - speak for itself.

Here's some advanced site queries I ran across a few days from an old internal spreadsheet I used to use when I was working in Iowa. Many of these still have a lot of value when looking at competitive link profiles or trying to find new acquisition opportunities and I still use many of them on a daily basis. Nothing groundbreaking here, and even though many of these are already offered on other SEO resources, I still find it valuable to post them, since I still run across people in our industry who are not totally aware of what you can do with site operators.

Obviously, pairing and combining certain query elements into more advanced queries will help you to target your research more efficiently, and there are times when I'm using almost all of them.
